Default Featured Image Per Catagory

Hello
I am trying to set a default featured image(s) for specific catagories.
i.e. a different default featured image based on the catagory the post is assigned to.
I have been trying the following instructions, but cant seem to get it to work.

Please can I have a little bot of help and guidence.

What issues are you having when applying that solution?

You’d basically need to create a header element for each category.
