Good morning TOM and all the generateblocks team. I still have some problems with generateblocks. Attached a video

All plugins disabled
All "elements" disabled

Thanks greetings from Italy
a nation that tries to restart

Hi there,

Sorry are you able to describe a problem a bit so we know what we should be looking at?

It's a little difficult just by looking at the video.

We will also need a link to your site.

Thanks!

As soon as I insert any element "generateblocks" it loses the formatting.
If I then immediately clean up the browser cache, I see it correctly.

This happens "ONLY" with generateblocks :-(

I can not understand

it also happens with all plugins disabled
including cache

SERVER: CLOSTE - LITESPEED

GenerateBlocks - Versione 1.0-rc.1

GP Premium - Versione 1.10.0

GeneratePressVersione: 2.4.2

Hi there,

It looks like you're using a plugin which is removing query strings from files.

Those query strings help the browser understand when a file has been changed so it doesn't serve the cached file.

Without the query strings, you need to manually clear your cache so the updated file is served.

Let me know if you need more info :)

:-(

Good morning Tom is thank you for your kind reply.

I am using a litespeed server & plugin cache for the first time and I don't understand what the query string to safeguard is.

Unfortunately, it only happens on the Generateblocks plugin.

I really like your plugin but I still can't use it (because of me)

Hi there,

Look for the Removing Query Strings setting in your Litespeed cache and uncheck that option. This should fix the issue you're having.

Thank You David .... sorry but

PLUGIN LITESPEED > Page optimization > Remove Query Strings > is "OFF"

this is the problem that I don't understand

why the problem persists even if I disable all the plugins including the cache one

There is likely another plugin removing query strings in that case. You may be better off deactivating your plugins one by one until the query strings re-appear. That way you'll know which one it is.

If not, it could be on the server-side of things.

Query strings are important, but people remove them because they get higher scores with tools like Pingdom. Without query strings, your browser won't know when a file has been changed (with new CSS in this case).

OK thank You Tom E David
this is why I love your products. You are always ready to help.

No problem! Always happy to help :)
