Vladimir
Hi,
Can you help me get rid of these dark circles: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuOnLev
I just want it to look like your original theme and I don’t know why these dark circles are there.December 5, 2022 at 5:28 pm #2450971Fernando Customer Support
Hi Vladimir,
That’s the “more” button for that Template. It looks odd though from your site. They should look like this: https://share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuzNQgq
Have you made any changes to these buttons?
If not, can you provide the link to the site in question for reference?
You may use the Private Information field for this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-premium-support-forum/#private-information

I see.
1. Go to the Front Page, and edit it.
2. Edit the Buttons.
3. Set a smaller font size. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4umw7gQ
4. Set the colors as well. Example https://share.getcloudapp.com/llug4ErzLet us know how it goes.

I tried your instructions and font reduction works on one button I tried: https://share.getcloudapp.com/2Nu6rmJE
but the background is already set to white on the button, so I can’t control it.I also noticed that this is a global problem on all buttons (just scroll down, look at footer, and go to other pages on https://vladimircukdev.wpengine.com/) so this is a GLOBAL problem. Your instructions show how to fix one button and there is just too many buttons in these theme to fix them individually.
I am giving you login below so you can fix them all at once on yourself. This is development server and backed up already so don’t worry about breaking things.

I see.
The issue stems from your other plugin, Genesis Blocks.
It’s CSS is causing a conflict. The CSS from it is overriding CSS from GenerateBlocks.
Can you try disabling it to test?

This is great discovery you did. Yes, I disabled that plugin and how it looks like your old theme.
Who put Genesis blocks in there, and do I need it for your theme to work correctly? Is Genesis Blocks installed by default by WordPress? I don’t remember putting it in there.December 6, 2022 at 12:15 am #2451144Fernando Customer Support
I see. Glad it’s resolved now.
It shouldn’t be added automatically by WordPress or GeneratePress. Perhaps you already had that plugin before?

I think it was added by WPEngine as they own Studio Press and the plugin is the product of Studio Press. I am hosting with WPEngine. Ok – so do you think I can delete this plugin?

I see.
Are you using it anywhere on your site? If not, then you can delete it.
The template you’re using solely relies on GP and GenerateBlocks.

OK. Will delete it then. Closing ticket. Thank you for fantastic diagnosis and support.
