Customizer Crashes

Hello, i love this theme. however, something is wrong.

when i open the customizer, it opens, but it locks up immediately. Then after 20-30 seconds it crashes, I get the “Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage.”

here’s what i’ve tried:

1. Purge cache….didn’t help.
2. Switched to my old theme (Genesis)…customizer works fine.

Everything is updated

any ideas thanks!

GP and Elementor are absolutely compatible - that's probably the most popular combo for GP users right now.

Does the problem still exist with only GP and Elementor activated?

Might be good to ask Elementor to check as well.
