customized category feed

Hi,
I'd like to create pages with a category feed that has a blog feed layout and a description or additional features.
So far I've tried to link a category in a menu, which works, but then I can't ccustomize that page.
And I've added an archive or category or blog post block on a page: Then, there will appear only a text style link, not in a typical feed layout.
What can I do? Thank you!
Hi Janna,
If you only want to add some content to the WP default category archive, that can be achieved using a block element depending on what you want to add.
If you want to create a static page as the category archive, try the Query loop block of the GenereateBlocks plugin.
