Customize the home page in the template from the site library

Hello, I have installed the info template from the site library.
But when I try to change the content on the home page and choose the categories that appear and the appropriate articles, I cannot change the content.
There is no way to modify the home page and change categories while maintaining the structure
Hi there,
the home page is displaying a number of Query Loop blocks.
If you select one of those blocks you can Add Parameter in its settings eg. Taxonomy -> Category -> A Term

GP theme has this option at Customize > Layout > Footer
