Customize Category Layout

Hi Tom,
I try to customize my category layout but i don't know how to do it smoothly.
For example, my category page is http://www.vinaloka.com/weitere-artikel and i want to replicate category page like https://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/category/africa/. I mean only in content, not in sidebar.
How could i do that ? Is it not is Customizer, right ?
Regards
Vinh
Hi there,
Which part are you referring to? Using one column instead of two?
Currently it's inheriting from your customizer setting so it's the same as the blog page.
If you want the category to be different, then try this: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-columns-in-the-blog/#changing-the-number-of-columns
Let me know.
Hi Leo,
I want just one column. The first post is like the current. But the next posts (2,3,..) have the small image und their image is in the left. Like https://www.nomadicmatt.com/travel-blogs/category/africa/

Vinh
What about the main blog page? Are you wanting 1 or 2 columns?
You can change the setting here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-columns-in-the-blog/
If you want the blog page to have different columns then the category page, then the filter is needed:

Let me know.
Hi Leo,
Just 1 column. I have said before.
Please see the screenshot if you aren't clear. In a category I want the text is in the right and image in the left (exclusive the first post).
If it's just one column then unchecking the Display posts in column option should work: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-columns-in-the-blog/
