Customize background for library template (Boost)
7 replies · Started by MARTA on November 18, 2019
Hi - I downloaded the library template (Boost) and would like to change the background color and eventually add a background image (I mean the dark blue that is on the back of the website, not sure how this section is called), also remove the rocket image and button "free quote". I have not been able to find that option for this part of the website.
Can I do it directly in WP or do I need a page builder?
Sorry, I am new to this, it is my first website.
Thanks for your help

Hi there,
did you find the answers? As i cannot see the background color or the Header Element ( Rocket Image and Free quote ) on the site?
Hi. Thanks for reaching out. I've been playing around with the site as I don't know at all how it works. I've figured out that all the visual options in the homepage are Elements. I had deleted them (that's the reason why you couldn't see them anymore) but I have put back some of them and made a few more edits. However, I cannot find how to delete the rocket in the back, could you please help? Regarding Elements, are all of them only editable via CSS code? Are these something created by GeneratePress? thanks
The rocket is added with the header element with this HTML:
<img src="https://gpsites.co/boost/wp-content/uploads/sites/48/2019/07/rocket-with-fire-min-e1562553801619.png">
Remove that line and you are good to go :)
Thanks, but could you please let me know the path in WP through which I can find that HTML header element? Is it in Elements or Additional CSS? Thanks
It would be in Elements.
Should be the home header.
Let me know if this helps :)
thanks, found it
No problem :)
