Customising / Homepage Setting / A static page - doesn’t work

Hello,
after the latest GP update:
Customising / Homepage Setting / "A static page" -> doesn’t work.
Homepage stays totally blank.
So I took now the setting: „Your latest posts“ -> this works.
Can you help me?

So whichever page you set to be the home page becomes blank?
If so can you try #1 here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/
I doubt it's a GP problem otherwise this support forum would be flooded with this issue :)
