Customiser Blank Screen

Dear Support,
Today we tried to adjust our site's GeneratePress Child Theme but when we try to open the customiser we receive a blank screen.
We have followed the suggestions here in this forum to increase the php memory limit and it is now set 512MB but this did not make any difference.
Would you know what could be the cause of the customiser only showing a blank screen?

Hi there,
generally a blank screen is due to not enough memory.
But it can also be at the machine/browser level.
Can you try opening the customizer in an incognito / private browser ?

Many thanks for the suggestions.
I have tried the following:
- cleared the cache of Google Chrome
- tried incognito mode for Chrome
- tried in Firefox and Opera
- increased the memory limit to 512mb, as I mentioned above.
Unfortunately, all them showed the blank screen.

What changes did you make to the Child Theme ?
Hi David,
My apologies, we did additional troubleshooting when your suggested solution did not work.
We have since identified that it was a particular plugin that caused the issue, i.e. it had nothing to do with GeneratePress.
We did make changes to the Child Theme but none of these were the cause.
