[Resolved] Customise Theme Area Crashes When Launched

Hi

The site I have been working on (the Luxury London Guy one – You have login details as its got an under construction page up), crashes whenever the theme customise area is launched.

Any thoughts/ideas/fixes?

Hi

So I deactivated plugins…no change. Increased memory… no change. I thought I would try it in Firefox as maybe there is a cache version in Chrome with the old memory limit.

Firefox started to crash and then there was a brief notification about the Dashline browser extension causing an error and then it resolved itself and seems to be working now.

Cant get rid of Dashline in Chrome as it is my password manager…

Thoughts?

So if you disable Dashline in Chrome, does the Customizer work fine? It could just be an incompatibility between the Customizer JS and however Dashline operates.

Yes seems to work now but only if logged out of Dashline.

I assume this is what you’re using?

I just set it up in Chrome and didn’t have any issues inside the Customizer.

Do you have a lot of passwords saved? The Customizer uses quite a lot of browser resources, maybe Dashlane does as well when there’s a lot of passwords?
