Custom Widget placement

I tried a few plugins but no joy - wondered if you had previous experience of one that works.
I'd like to use different widgets on different pages. Pretty sure this is not an out of the box GeneratePress option!
I tried Cherry Sidebars and Custom Sidebars but they didn't seem to be working (although I could be using them wrong!)

Try Woo sidebars. Its worked for me.
