Custom templates for custom post-types

Hi Tom,

I'm building a website for a small record label and want to manage the bands they have via custom post types to avoid interferrence with the blog. My question would be which files I have to copy and customize to get the following:

- overview of all bands similar to the blog entries with a simple grid look
- a single page with all infos and a full-width featured image

I tried but got stuck because I especially couldn't get the grid working

Any hints are appreciated.

Hi Marcel,

You can actually apply Masonry or Columns to your post type quite easily.
