Custom template not appearing in display rules

my +1 vote for the ability to assign a layout element to all pages that use a certain page template via display rules.

I'd like that for as well and being able to apply a hook to a specific page template via display rules.

Any news on this topic?

Not at this time, unfortunately. Definitely still on our radar.
