custom sidebar on CPT

Hi,
Is there a way of using an element to apply a custom sidebar to appear on custom taxonomy archive in place of the regular sidebar?
I cant work out how to do with elements.
Is this still better handled by custom code or a plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/

yes, the Content Aware Sidebars is still the easiest option for displaying Custom Sidebars.
