Custom Post Type like Blog

Hi there,
we created a custom post type with the plugin Custom Post Type UI. There is a way to make it behave like the blog (archive and single) or to control it with the option_generate_blog_settings (https://docs.generatepress.com/article/option_generate_blog_settings/).

Absolutely - how is your current blog set up?
In any way. I wish I could modify it from the function (or from the gp blog customizer), but I don't know how to implement it correctly to be connected to our Custom Post Type.
Filters will likely be necessary, unfortunately.
