[Support request] Custom Post Type Layouts – yoast local seo

Hi,

I’m using Yoast’s ‘local seo’ add-on.

New (business) locations that I add are added into a custom post type “locations”.

Problem is – all of these location post types don’t give me the same layout options I normally have.
– I can’t use sections
– I can’t customize for ‘one container’ for layout (instead of ‘separate containers’)

Do I have to add this post type into my functions.php?

Sections need to be enabled for custom post types: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_sections_post_types/

Can you link me to a page where the one container option isn’t working?
