Custom Post Navigation

Hi,
I'm using the CSS from the documentation to make my post navigation inline: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/inline-post-navigation/
However, I'd also like to be able to make the arrows clickable and instead of having post titles I'd like it to say 'view 1 of 12'.
Is this possible with a filter?
Thanks.
Hi Andy,
It's possible, but it would require quite a bit of custom development (we'd need to replace the default code with custom code).
However, we're releasing 1.13.0-alpha.1 this week, which allows you to build your own Post Navigation Template directly in the block editor using GenerateBlocks. You should be able to build the exact layout you're looking for without any code at all :)
Hi Tom,
Sounds awesome and I already have GenerateBlocks installed on the site!
Awesome! Be on the look out for 1.13.0-alpha.1 - would love feedback if possible :)
Hi Tom,
Thank you for this fantastic update, I now have Version 2.0.0-alpha.2 installed. I've setup a post navigation block and used buttons to create the arrows and dynamic content for the URLs.
However, although the previous post button works correctly, the next post button is also taking you to the previous post.
Any help appreciated.
Hi there,
can you check the Source for each of your Dynamic buttons is set correctly ie. Previous Post and Next Post.
Yes definitely, see screenshot: https://prnt.sc/10km4sh
That's super weird. We haven't been able to replicate the issue.
What if you use one of the existing templates?
Do those links work correctly?
