Custom Grid Layout for Blog Archive

Hi there,
unfortunately, I have not found any similar examples and therefore wanted to ask if it is possible with GeneratePress to style a blog archive in this layout?

in GPP 2.0 you will be able to create the overlay card style design:

And then see this topic here where a user wanted something similar:

It will create the alternating row layout.
May need some CSS to remove the article spacing.
