Custom Fonts not working with Beaver Builder

Hi there,
I am having an issue with Typekit fonts and Beaver Builder. I have Proxima Nova Typekit font installed via the hook and added the code in functions.php so I can select it through the customizer. Everything works great when I use just GeneratePress, however I have one page I want to use with Beaver Builder but the font is not visible and is overwritten by Beaver Builders Default font.
Do I have to take any additional steps here?

Can you check with BB's support first?
Maybe you need to load the font within the plugin as well.
