Custom Font without Plugin in Child Theme

Hi , i need to import a custom font for a specific element i will add .
In what folder should i upload it so when updates will rise will not be deleted and also how can i imported right without to brake GP theme fonts ?
What is the best way to import it in my Child theme without a plugin ?
