Custom font not showing on mobile

Hello,

Today I install the custom font on the website using the instructions for locally hosting a font file and using a combination of CSS and PHP filters to access it in the customizer.

Everything seemed to work perfectly and the font shows well on Chrome on a PC laptop.

I checked on my Android phone using Chrome and it looks like it is reverting to a system font. I'd love it to show the custom font on all platforms.

It may be because the font is only a OTF file and perhaps that is not supported on Android mobile devices. if you think that maybe the issue, is there a way to convert fonts to other more widely supported formats using some sort of tool?

Your help is appreciated!

Hi there,

i think you're seeing the font on your desktop because you may have it locally installed - as Sofia is not loading on any of my devices.

Theres a few tools online to convert fonts like this one:

https://www.fontsquirrel.com/tools/webfont-generator

woff and woff2 are the most widely supported.
