Custom error 404 page (feature request)

I am using another theme on one of websites I manage that custom error page can be used by creating a page with slug 'error-404', and showing the default one when that page is absent. Would this be possible in this theme?

You can also assign a GP Page Header to the 404 which is what i usually do, and then filter out / remove the template elements i don't need.
