Hi,

The infinity/load more option doesn't work with any custom footer. Both on main theme and child.

Not using anything crazy, just %current_year% %copy% Name

Please let me how can we fix that.

Thanks

Hi Alex,

That sounds strange - haven't had other reports on this before.

Can you try #1 in the debugging article first?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

Make sure you have the parent theme activated as well.

It might be a good idea to start a staging site so we can do some further debugging if the above doesn't help.

Let me know :)

Hi Leo,

Disabled everything except GP and GB. Same thing. With parent theme too. Clean chache. 3 different browsers.

Login provided if needed.

Thanks for providing the login.

Can you disable all plugins except for GP Premium and GenerateBlocks for us to take a look? Unfortunately we cannot do that for you.

Please activate the parent theme as well.

Thanks!

All plugins disabled. GP parent activated.

Let me know if something else is needed.

Thanks

Hi Alex,

Can you uninstall, delete, re-download, and install GP Premium?

Also, for clarity, if you remove the copyright, does the infinite scroll work again?

Hi Fernando,

Correct, if the custom copyright is removed, all is good.

I will reinstall as suggested and let you know.

Thanks

Alright! Let us know how it goes.

The issue you're having seems very odd.

Reinstalled a fresh GP Premium download. No change...load more is not working

Hi David,

I've used the Customizer>Layout>Footer field and it is just %current_year% %copy% Name. Nothing else in the footer.
I have some css which was provided on this forum and you can see it in Simple CSS section.
Couple of hooks for blocking elements and nothing else. Strange...

Couple of days ago I had GP child theme on and the "load more" didn't work, so I switched to parent and everything was fine.
Haven't really added much since then except for content.

Have there been any edits made to theme files ?
And what happens if you temporarily disable the Elements module ?

No edits whatsoever to the theme files.
Just disabled Elements and no change.

I'll remove the custom copyright so you can take a look.

Ok, so the image widget you have in the sidebar contains some broken HTML which in turn is breaking other HTML in the browser, which is where those extra links are coming from as the browser trys to repair it. See here:

Can you remove that widget ?

Huh, I did remove it a few hours ago to check but there was no change. It's permanently gone now.

You guys are great!

Thank you
