Cumulative Layout Shift on Home PAge

Hello
Never really had any issues with Cumulative Layout Shift before but have noticed that on first load, the theme looks like it doesn't load - I get a strange white screen with some text and icons, then then page snaps in
Any idea?

can you first try disabling the WP Rocket Optimized ( Critical ) CSS delivery option as that looks to be the issue.
Yes Rocket CCSS does appear to be the issue - excluded the page and the issue has gone away.
GP should look into creating creating a performance plug-in - you would make a killing. Its not like Tom and team are busy :-)
But I guess it a thankless task with the ever involving development landscape
Automatic optimization plugins are a nightmare - its impossible for them to work across the countless number of different site builds, server configurations etc... i am not sure why they try to.
I think we'll stick with just making a lightweight theme and plugins lol
