Cumulative layout shift issues

Hi,
I seem to be getting 2 layout shifts that are linked to generatepress.
1) One is related to a hook which generates a disclaimer at the top of every page.
2) The other is due to the icons in the primary navigations in both mobile and desktop. You can visibly see these shift when you load the page.

Edit: I see that the first issue is due to WP rocket optimize CSS delivery, but is there a way to keep this option still selected and fix this issue?

Hi there,
most likely both issues are related to the WP Rockets optimized CSS delivery ... the automatic method it uses isn't great at creating the necessary critical CSS ( it probably accounts for the majority of CLS issues that get reported here ) for above the fold elements.
To keep that option would require you to manually generate that CSS or report the issue to WP Rocket as they provide the feature they should be able to help.
Interesting to read all the other WP rocket users with the same problem - Rockets suggested solution is not to use the feature. (Did make me chuckle)
Thinking of giving Flying pages/scripts a whirl as the CCCS they use seems to get good reviews
:) Oh my thats not what i expected ... i was sort of hoping they might think about fixing it or removing it lol
