    Hello,

I used the “Custom Post Type UI” plugin to create a new taxonomy called “Products” to better highlight the products I feature on my website. Everything is working great except when I use the https://gohydrology.org/products/trivia (i.e. water trivia) or the https://gohydrology.org/products/podcast (i.e. podcast) the title label shows “Products: Trivia” and “Products: Podcast.”

Is there a way using CSS styling to get rid of the “Products:” ?

Thanks for all your help over the past 1-2 years. I really value the lifeline you provide.

    Thank you,

    Bob

    Hi Bob,

Glad you are happy with our support 🙂

Do you have GenerateBlocks plugin installed?
If so, you can create a block element - page hero to replace the default archive title.
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/

Set the element’s location toproduct product archive.

Let me know if that works for you!

Yin, I can’t thank you enough!

The new headers came out great. Wow, it’s so efficient how that dynamic hook works. I didn’t realize GP Blocks Premium was so powerful. Below are four examples. I filled out the meta context box in the Product taxonomy field to display those images and text under the titles, too (i.e. in addition to getting ride of the “Products:” at the intro).

I’m really intrigued about the block elements. Those header blocks look so sleek I’m wondering if there’s a way to list all my products in a single column using dynamic boxes. Not sure. Maybe that’s a topic for another day. Or if you have any other tips, let me know.

Otherwise, I’ll mark this as resolved.

    Thank you so much!

    You are very welcome 🙂

I’m wondering if there’s a way to list all my products in a single column using dynamic boxes.

We currently can not apply block element – content template to product post type yet, but GenerateBlocks 1.5 has a Query loop block which allows you to add product list to a static page or archive pages using hooks.

Thank you Ying for all your help and thanks for the heads up on GB 1.5! It all has my mind spinning. I just got rid of sidebar replacements because it can be handled so much better with the dynamic blocks. Thanks again, Bob
