    but on my test site here and my main site (but the post isn’t publushed on that) the css is screwed up?

    If you copy the code exactly the same from the example page then it should display the same since they are using the code to display the example.

    yeah i was playing about with it

    it appears i missed a } in the css causing it to look crappy

    It still looks bad on my live site.

    is there a way to publish a post but hide it?

    Published posts will always be accessible, but you can “hide” it by not having it in your menus or content links.
