CSS for padding on Homepage

Hi,
I'm trying to replicate this homepage - https://www.moneylab.co/ On my site - https://kitchenn.co.uk/
I've altered the Split site library version but cannot seem to figure out how to make the images bigger or the heading go beneath the image.
Every edit in the CSS just seems to squash it more rather than make it larger.
Please have a look.

To clarify: Did you mean the post images?
If so, that's something you set on the customizer. The option is found on Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog.
