Css delay in displaying site

I'm really liking GeneratePress and switched to using it for this e-journal site. However, I am seeing an issue where the page loads and the application of the CSS is experiencing a significant (noticeable) delay.
Can you suggest any way of improving the display speed of the site? This seems to be most apparent on my Articles page which is an archive displaying search results. I don't use any caching plugin and I am using Toolset Views, however, I haven't noticed a problem like this on some of my other sites.
Hi Martin,
Perhaps you can try using a CDN to serve the CSS and JS files faster.
We’ve had one customer saying she used this and it helped in terms of JS and CSS delivery: https://restorebin.com/free-cdn-css-js/
You can also try other CDN plugins. I found this article that may help: https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-wordpress-cdn-services/
Thanks, looks too complicated for me. I think I'll just live with it, sigh.
You're welcome, Martin!
The scripts you have from plugins are the ones mainly causing the delay.
