I was looking at one of the GP docs regarding icons in the navigation and I saw you need to activate CSS classes in the screen options.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-icons-to-menu-items/

I do not have this option, does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I got this from another site:
In WordPress, you can easily style your menuby adding css classes to each elements and make use of it.

Go to admin > appearance > menu
Click on Screen Options (top right of the screen)
Check the CSS classes options in the “Show advanced menu properties” panel
add your css classes to the element

Yup both instructions say the same thing.

Do you see the button Screen Options at all?

Yes I see screen options, but there is not tick box for CSS Classes. I did not even know it existed to be honest. Is it a default WP feature, or do I need to install a plugin?

That's a default WP feature. Did you see "Show advanced menu properties"?

Argh, I got it now, I was on appearance tab, once I clicked on the menus tab, it showed up.
Thanks for your help Leo :)
