Crypto Blog Page

Hi everyone,
I am working on a rebuild of a client site, and I started off with Crypto.
All going well - one small issue, the Blog page on the Crypto demo uses an Element for Archive Layout.
But on mine I see the Element is working, but the Title (Events in my case) is appearing below the Element header.
Not sure why ?
TIA, Dave
Hi David,
Could you go to the block element and check if the disable title option is activated?

Let me know :)
Ah, I would have seen that, but it was because mine was not set to Page Hero.
It was set to Content Template.
I don't recall changing that since Crypto was imported!
I changed it to Page Hero like yours.
And the title is now fixed.
But I have ended up with another blog post (repeated from one of the others!) above the 4 that should be there.
I ticked all three disable buttons, but no change!
Thanks, Dave
It's weird.
Can you provide access to the admin? If you can disable all the cache plugins, that'll be great!
Let me know :)
Sure no problems!
No caching plugins are turned on as it is under development and in a temp location!
Hi David,
the Element titled: Archive Layout you have set as a Page Hero.... shouldn't that be set to a Content Template to overwrite the post archives ?
Thanks David,
I changed it to that because Ying above had that set in the screen shot she linked to!
That exposed the checkbox to disable the title!
So I'm a bit confused now.
Let me do some more testing and get back to you.
Dave
OK, so I changed it back to Archive Layout.
And I'm now wondering if the issue is because the page is a blog category ?
/category/events/
If I go to the /blog/ page there is no extra title.
So I thought OK I'll change it so the blog is only showing the category I need (events)
So I change the settings to:
Post With Terms
Category
events (Tried Events to)
But it display all active posts ?
So slowly getting there!
Cheers, Dave
You will need 2 x Block Elements.
1. The Content Template to style the post articles in the feed.
2. The Page Hero for displaying the Page Title etc. Above the feed. This you may have to use Static Content for that specific archive, as it may not pull in the correct archive title if thats being generated by a Plugin.
I will look at this more closely, but for now I just switched to using WP Show Posts.
Closing now!
thanks, Dave
Glad to hear you found a solution.
