[Support request] Critical error – WP ShowPosts

Hi guys,

help needed – urgent…

I´m using GP Premium – Dispatch Theme.

Since last update plugin “WP Show Posts” causes critical errors…

first time my site crashed because of an wp-show-post element in my sidebar… so i removed it an it worked again

now, days later… my site crashed again because WP-Show-Post… when turn of i can access my backend…

Please help… without this plugin dispatch isnt working properly.

UPDATE: I found out that the problem came up when editing an old post from 2019 an changing it´s published date to today… – moving this post back to 2019 solved it… but why???

I wonder why changing the date would cause an issue – very peculiar.

However, that WP Show Posts list in the sidebar, if you edit it, does it have width and height dimensions for the image ?

I can´t tell you, because i deleted the wp show list in sidebar because of that issue days ago.

But i found out, that everything shows correct, when changing the main image of the post…

Does that make any sense to you?

I have seen similar issues when an image is missing its width and height attributes. Which kind of makes sense if replacing the image fixed the issue. But why changing the date would cause the error is a puzzle.
