[Support request] Creating a drop-down in the sidebar (custom html) widget.

Hi,
I’m trying to create a drop-down here which can help me navigate to select websites. I would also want to stylize it the way the containers on the left are stylized.
Will appreciate detailed guidance.

Hi there,

simplest method would be to create a new Menu built with Custom Links, and display that using a Nav Menu widget.

Displaying them as a dropdown or select box is a lot more tricky and would either require a plugin or custom development.

any recommended plugins?

I don’t have a recommendation as most of the ‘dropdown’ plugins on the WordPress repository are out of date.
