Do I need to create Home and Blog Pages and choose the front page to be Home and Blog page to be Blog in Settings > Reading before creating Hero Pages?

    Hi there,

Do I need to create Home and Blog Pages and choose the front page to be Home and Blog page to be Blog in Settings > Reading before creating Hero Pages?

    Thats correct.

That site was created using a Header Element for the top section – similar example here:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-hero-examples/#example-3

And the rest of the page was built using the WP Show Posts plugin.

Created a Header Elements as in Example 3. I have created Home Page too and in Display Rules, I choose Page > Home Page but the header Example is not showing.

Can you try display rule the front page instead of the page name?

It’s working but I want to add posts below Header Hero Elements. How to add it?

If the home page is not your main posts page or category archives, then you’d need a plugin like this:

I have been using WP Show Posts lately, I have created lots of tutorials using WP Show Posts. So let’s say I have configured WSP then where to paste shortcode/PHP Code?

I have added my website above, please check it. I am having a problem. The post is displaying too

So since your home page is the post page already, the only way to insert other content is through hooks:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/

If you want to use a static page for the home page instead, you can change that in WordPress readings settings:

    Hi there,
I am still got confused about how to create a site like the shared link.
Should I create Home Page and do everything?
Can you please elaborate on the process from Menu to Hero page (banner) to place an Icons after the hero background and then list post?
    Please
I hope to create the site soon with generatepress.
    Thank you.

Set the Front Page as a static page in Dashboard > Settings > Reading.

    Navigation – this tutorial:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/centering-logo-navigation/

Header Element – as discussed above.

The Icon images are simply images placed in a Columns Block using the core gutenberg editors.

The different lists are different WP Show Posts lists added to the editor using Shortcodes.
