    Hi there,

I want to create a recipe index by categories. I am having issues with that. Are there ways to create it?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jeena,

To clarify, are you referring to showing an index/query of the recipes you already created, or are you asking how to create it?

If you’re wanting to show it, and it’s a CPT, you can use a Query Loop Block to do so. See here for reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/

If you’re referring to something else, let us know.

    Hi Fernando,

Thanks for the reply. I am referring to showing an index of the recipes that I have created.
I have attached the link below for reference.

    Thanks

I see. So these are links to archive pages.

Currently, there’s no way to do this dynamically through GeneratePress.

You would need to do it manually with GenerateBlocks. Here are samples of templates you can do with GenerateBlocks: https://generateblocks.com/generateblocks-pattern-library/

Alternatively, you can try a third-party plugin or use a custom code. I can’t seem to find a plugin for this looking through Google. It may be good to ask for recommendations on our Facebook Page as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1113359788719597

Oh okay! I was looking for a plugin as well but couldn’t find it.

Sure, I will go through the link.

Thanks for the prompt reply, Fernando.

    Thanks
