[Support request] Create Post that Redirects to Another Website URL

I plan to publish a lot of articles on Medium and on various other publications. This is fine, however, I am having trouble figuring out how best to showcase these off-site articles on my website.

The best scenario I could think of would be to create posts on my site that when clicked automaticaly redirect users to the off-site article.

For example, I would create a post with a date and a featured image that would show up on my latest articles category page – https://conorwriter.com/category/latest-articles/ – but if you clicked on that post, it wouldn’t go to the post page, instead it would automattically go to the new article on Medium or where ever.

Is this possible?

Hi,

This is definitely possible but not within the theme.

You would have to setup redirection within WordPress.

Perhaps, a plugin like this will serve your purpose.
