StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
do you mean something like the query loop patterns we provide here:

This post is SO close to what I want to ask – I didn’t want to ask in another thread (though I am breaking hijacking protocol I know).
The pattern in question in the link has sort of a FEATURE, then regular posts.
Does QueryLoop create the larger feature automatically? Do you get to CHOOSE what the large feature post will be?
I like the idea of this for job openings – with one feature job, then the rest. But don’t want to do a whole bunch of customization to get the one large post.
(Let me know if I should post in a separate post).
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
that pattern uses 2 separate Query Loops, one for the Featured post, and one for the other posts.
So you have ultimate freedom to how you want to use them and what posts they should display.February 17, 2023 at 9:30 am #2537088Tom
Thanks David for the quick response – I pasted, and sort of get the gist of it.
But raised another question: The dummy content does not copy over – the elements appear in the “List View” but not in the “Page Layout View”… see image here.
Question: Is that by design? Or browser flaw?
Error – or by design?Feature QL is fine seemingly. Bottom QL might not be.
The reason this is important (and why this Pattern may be so popular) – is the layout style (image on left & text on right of each post).
Let me know.
Thanks!February 17, 2023 at 9:52 am #2537110David
StaffCustomer SupportYou need to create some posts on your site, the Patterns will never import dummy posts to your site.

Perfect – (did not pick the post type in the query loop.)
Don’t tell anyone.
Thank you!
