Creating homepage

Hi There,

We are new to GeneratePress and are in the process of setting up a new website for a client.

We will have a good look through the tutorial videos now to see if we can suss it out, but any advice you can give would be helpful.

We've look through some of the previous support issues but can't find anything we can make sense of at the moment!

Hi there,

That screenshot is using a regular page header, and then the grid columns plugin to create columns within the content: https://wordpress.org/plugins/lightweight-grid-columns/

Thanks for getting back!

So do we follow the usual format with this:
A) Set up a 'home page' page
B) Set that as 'front page'
C) Add the required content

I'll check out and install the suggested plugin.

Hi,

I take it this plugin is stable as far as you know?
I have noted 'Last Updated: 2013-10-4' on the plugin page.

Yes, it's stable (using it on this site).

I have my own coming out soon which can replace it :)

I think we'll wait for your homepage shortcode or equivalent.
We find the Grid Columns installation guide a little confusing and overbearing!
