Cover image / featured image

Hi,
I have started using ‘covers’ at the head of my posts, but the image doesn’t show on the blog page - just the title. Is there a setting to remedy this please? One that doesn’t include creating a ‘header’ as such.
I prefer the ‘cover format.
Thank you
Hi there,
unfortunately not as the Cover Block doesn't support featured images which is what would be required.
Instead - why not use a Header Element ? They can dynamically display the Post title and meta over the featured image.

Hi,
Thank you for this, and I have created a header. And this works in the post itself very well.
But I still can’t get a ‘thumbnail’/preview image on the blog or homepage.
Can you please advise :)
Can you share a link to the site so i can take a look?
Yes, thank you.
Info is in the private info window.
:)
Doesn't look like you have added a featured image to that post.
By adding the featured image, you can then create a single header element, and set the background image to Featured Image and then set the Display Rules to all posts.
Thank you.
But i wanted that image on that post only.
Can I just get the header to show as a thumbnail on the blog/front pages at all?
:)
Ahhh got it. Yes solved that now.
Thank you very much once again :)
You're welcome
Hi,
Sorry, not quite as resolved as I thought. Now I have added featured image and set the header to featured image. But the post now shows the full header and a smaller version just below.....
In there Header Element there is an Option to Display Featured Image - uncheck this to remove it from the post content. It will then only display in above the content.
