Cover block is distorted

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "Cover block". Did you mean Block Element? Or perhaps, Hook element?
I've inspected the site and it looks like you've inserted an ad from a plugin but it that doesn't seem to be working.
Can you explain a bit more about what you're trying to do?

I'm talking about the cover tool in Guttenberg blocks. I use it quite often to promote other pages on my site. The covers that I put in back in January still look fine but the covers that I try to put in now are all distorted.

can you share a link to a post where the cover block is behaving correctly so i can see what the differences are?

The one that doesn't work well is missing some CSS style, could you purge your cache and disable your cache plugin to test?
