Core WP image block align-wide doesn't work with block content templates.

Hey,
I tried it with the content template deactivated using only the customizer settings and it works, It also works with the 2021 theme. It seems to be an issue with the content template, where the image within the content set to align-wide won't extend beyond the padding. This style with images wider than text-blocks is quite common on sites like Medium.com.
The content template container is smaller (992px) than the container set in the customizer (1920px) to accommodate an additional sidebar template.
Hi there,
I wouldn't use the alignment option from the image block inside the content template.
Try to configure all the width/padding setting using the container block from GP and only use the image block to insert the image.
Let me know if this helps :)
Thanks. It works now with negative margins applied to the GB container wrapping the image, another use-case for a global container style I guess. Or is there a dedicated image component on the roadmap for GB?
Kudos for the great support to you and your colleagues, really appreciated!
We've had some discussions around an image block either in GB or GP but no decisions made yet.
No problem :)
