How can I change the background color in the copyright section?

Do you have the Colors add-on? If so, you can do it in "Customize > Colors > Footer Colors".

I do not see this option under Customize>Colors>Footer colors anymore...

Are you only missing the Footer section?

No that is there, but under footer, there are only options
[goes and double checks]
