Hi, I could be missing something but when I try to change the copyright text in the footer in Customizer, it prefixes my own text to the text that's already there. I don't seem to be able to delete the default copyright text. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
Good catch - that's a bug.
If you actually save your settings and view the live site, the default copyright will be gone.
It's a Customizer-based bug I'll get fixed for the next version.
Thanks! :)
Fixed in GP Premium 1.2.88 :)
Hi Tom, similar problem here, I can't edit nor save the (previously edited) copyright text.
1.2.88 already available or when?
(I have 1.2.87 and I don't see any updates)
Thanks :)
You should be able to edit it by going to "Appearance > Customize > Copyright".
The bug right now is that the default copyright stays in the live preview, but is removed (as it should) when the settings are actually saved.
I think the problem was a script previously saved in the copyright area: I moved it to the footer hook and now the copyright editor works as it should!
(Before, even a tiny edit to the copyright text froze the Customizer).
Anyway, thank you for your reply and for your fantastic theme and plugins :)
Glad you were able to resolve it :)
