Is there a way to convert comments into pagination for a single post or page instead of doing it for a WordPress site (from the settings)?

Hi there,
I’m not 100% sure what you are trying to achieve but the comment system is entirely handled by WordPress core so the theme doesn’t have any special feature or control over it.
If you need a specific feature for comments that isn’t offered by WP then a third-party plugin or a custom solution is likely required.
