Can you please help me understand why my content is wider than my screen on mobile. When I click on appearance->customize and view the mobile option it looks ok. However, when I see the mobile screenshot on Google Pagespeed the page is cut in the middle and the content is wider than the screen.
Also the text is too small to be read on mobile (according to Google) even though I set the font at 17px.
There seems to be a difference between teh Generatepress view shows the site and the way Google sees the site. What could be causing this?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
i ran a mobile friendly test on your site here:
https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly/result?id=bbVxAbXfF6u-XdkZdnz9dQ
And it Passed the test.
What you may be seeing is a False Positive from Google.
This can happen when Google Bot is super busy and tries testing your site.
With limited crawl quota available it fails to load all the necessary resources your site requires to render the page correctly ( eg. CSS stylesheets ). Which results in a bad screenshot and a failed test. You should be able to re-validate any URLs that fail now. And google will retest them.
As a note: Google is aware this happens and they expect their to be some failures which do not penalise your rankings for.
To reduce this happening in the future you should look to Optimize your website. The less time it takes for your site to load, the less risk there is that Google Bot will run of crawl quote.
Some suggestions for improvement:
1. Load google fonts locally:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/
2. Use Page Caching on your server or a cache plugin.

Sorry – I just used the site you linked to and it seems like the URL I previously gave as an example does pass on that platform but all other URLs fail so unfortunately it might not be a bug on Google’s end.
I have attached a new URL that fails on that site as well.
Any idea what the problem is?December 17, 2022 at 4:58 am #2464969David
StaffCustomer SupportIs it just that page ? As that page is purely Calculators and those are all generated by Javascript, you would need to raise that with the Calculator plugin developer.
