[Support request] Content template design not showing

Hi, I followed the tutorial on this page (https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-content-template/) however I changed the element type from Content Template to Hook because I want to add some other before the created element. The final result I want is to have all the posts show up here with that design.

So I assigned this element to the page “Blog”, but when I go to that page, this is what I see (https://ibb.co/30Vkj2S). The design is not there at all, and it seems to not be picking up all the other posts I’ve previously created.

What am I doing wrong here?

Hi Czarina,

Your Blog page is just a static page.

It’s not the actual Blog page.

Content Templates work best on the Blog and archive pages.

One this you could do is set this page as the Blog page in Settings > Reading > Posts page:.

Can you try that first?
