Chris
I can see where to adjust the content padding, but as I change the numbers nothing happens.
Same on the mobile settings.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Hmm if you change the right padding then nothing will happen because there is no content.
What happens if you change the left padding?

I’m trying to adjust the padding for all containers.
No result on the left padding.

StaffCustomer SupportElementor is controlling the padding: https://s16.postimg.org/t52ph0vkl/padding.png
Since you are using Elementor a lot, especially the content section, I would always check there first.

Yeah, but isn’t that a part of your theme settings?

StaffCustomer SupportYup for when people don’t use page builders.
But as you seen in the screenshot Elementor takes over it.

StaffCustomer SupportFor example, you can use the customizer to change the header padding because the header/navigation is from GP.

This page is not using any Elementor items at all and the padding is not working. In fact, I think the page title has nothing to do with elementor at all. Shouldn’t that be affected by the padding setting of your theme? It’s set to the default page type even and only has text in the default page editor. No elementor content at all.

Honestly, I feel like this was working before the most recent update. One of the reasons I purchased GP pro was for the spacing feature.
When I used anything else in that part of the customizer, it works fine.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M52-5319kk0&feature=youtu.beI’m sure it worked at some point. It’s one of the first things I set on the site and was excited about how well it worked and how easily it was to adjust for mobile.

StaffCustomer SupportLooks like you have Contained checked here: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/
If you are not using the page builder on that page then check Default then the customizer setting should apply.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m sure if the recent update changed the container width we would have received lots of complains in the last few days already 🙂

So what’s the solution then. You can surely see that I have the padding set in the customizer and have the pages set to your specifications. Why is this not working, please?

StaffCustomer SupportYour first screenshot actually doesn’t show your Page Builder Container setting:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-builder-container/Can you make sure it’s using Default?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperYea, according to the HTML class and CSS, you have the page builder container setting set to “Contained”.
Both of those options will remove padding from the content area so you can then apply it using your page builder.
As Leo said, setting it to Default will allow GP to control the padding.
