Content not showing in edit

Hi all

Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. On this site: http://www.silsdentownhall.org.uk all is fine when viewing the site either logged in or not. However in the admin section all is fine except that the content does not appear in the edit area. Not seen this before. Any ideas?

The site is running WP 4.7.4, Exhibit 1.04, GeneratePress 1.3.46 and GP Premium 1.2.96. I added a new plugin which I hoped was the problem but disabling made no difference.

Any help or ideas much appreciated.

Hi John,

Hmm that's strange. Can you try to disable all non-GP plugin to if you can find the problem?

If you highlight the content area in the editor, does it look like it's highlighting something? Almost like the text is white on a white background?

If so, you might want to try re-installing WordPress (Dashboard > Updates). I've seen TinyMCE get corrupted like this sometimes.

Thanks for that advice. I tried deactivating all the plugins one by one but no change. However a reinstall of WordPress core did the trick.

Should have thought of that really.
