Content not displaying in Edit Mode

I have rebuilt a site n localhost. It was working properly. I added a few plugins (auto-optimize, Gutenberg blocks, ninja forms etc). Now when I go to edit mode the content does not display. Investigating the element shows me the text is there it just does not appear. I moved the site to a GoDaddy WordPress installation and the same thing. I deactivated all the plugins except GP and Gutenberg blocks and still, content does not appear in edit mode. It is there it just doesn't appear. Super Odd!
